Abstract  Family Friendly policy is a series of compensatory benefits provided by organizations designed to support employees who face work, family and personal time conflicts in a complex environment. The existing Research on Family Friendly Policies mostly focus on Europe and other developed countries or regions and mainly discuss the effect of these policies, which neglects to clarify the content and the measurement of family Friendly policies. Measurement is one of the most important and basic issues in the field of Family Friendly policies. Furthermore, the existing Family Friendly policy mostly are measured in group level instead of organizational level. Based on the literature review, we use focus groups and Delphi method to acquire and integrate Family Friendly policies with Chinese characteristics. Through statistical analysis on 1,225 employees in Chinese organizations, we develop and verify four factor structure models of family Friendly policies in Chinese Context, which contains 22 items with four dimensions: Flexibility, Family Care, Holidays and Employee assistance. Finally, we verify the reliability and validity of the scales in Chinese Context.
