The Study on the Impact of Abusive Supervision of Leaders on Employees' Innovation Behavior

Abstract  Based on a questionnaire survey sample of 400 employees in China and by using structural equation model and hierarchical regression analysis methods, this paper explores the impact of abusive supervision on employees’ innovative behavior and the moderating effect of employees’ psychological capital and teammember exchange. The research results show that abusive supervision of leaders has a significant negative influence on employees’ innovative behavior, while psychological capital and teammembers exchange play regulatory roles in the relationship between them. In this regard, suggestions on employees’ innovation management from the individual, team and leadership are offered.
