Abstract  Based on the resourcedbased theory, this study tries to start from the perspective of organizational slack, and uses content analysis method to construct research on Chinese enterprises. Adding the slack variable, this paper reconstructs a "dual strategic behavior performance" model. Using samples of 120 hightech firms in China, the statistical results reveal that explorative strategy and exploitative strategy have different impacts on corporate financial performance. Furthermore, the Balance Dimension of organizational ambidexterity (BD) is beneficial to the longterm performance, but the Combined Dimension of organizational ambidexterity (CD) has no significant effect on the longterm performance. In addition, different types of slack resources do not have the same match with exploration and exploitation; CD will promote the longterm performance of the organization when the organizational slack is abundant.
