Synergetic and Symbiosis Framework in the Digital Era：System Efficiency and Value Evolution

Abstract Based on the concept of “synergetic & symbiosis”, this study proposes a synergetic and symbiosis framework for enterprise growth in the digital era, based on three schools of classical enterprise growth theory consisting of “internal resource growth theory”, “networked growth theory”, and “legitimate growth theory”, as well as Quinn’s “competitive value framework”. The framework is built through two dimensions, the first dimension is combining empowerment and control, and the second is combining internal and external. The framework presents four quadrants respectively, i.e., symbiotic system quadrant, human resource quadrant, institutional process quadrant, and linkage model quadrant.
