Abstract Based on the data of survey from 281 knowledge workers in 23 firms, this paper discusses the transmission mechanism of work-family conflict and family-work conflict between the knowledge staff’work expressive suppression and creativity as well as family expressive suppression and creativity, and suggests the moderating role of organizational innovation atmosphere through using multi-level linear analyze. The results show that, both work expressive suppression and family expressive suppression on the knowledge staff will have significant negative effect on their creativity; work-family conflict and family-work conflict respectively mediates the relationship between work expressive suppression and creativity as well as family expressive suppression and creativity; organizational innovation atmosphere moderates the mediation role of work-family conflict through which work expressive suppression makes an effect on creativity, and alsomoderates the mediation role of family-work conflict through which family expressive suppression impacts on creativity.
