Abstract Drawing on the dynamic capabilities theory, this paper examines the relationships among managerial ties, resource bundling (RB), entrepreneurial orientation (EO), and firm performance. Using data collected from a sample of 508 firms, we find that both political ties and business ties are positively related to firm performance. Different RB processes moderate managerial ties and performance relationship in different ways. EO further moderates the moderating effects of RB processes.
