Abstract This paper puts forward an “EconomyCulture” game model of the crossborder M&As, based on the dimensions of economy and culture and the facets of nation and corporate. With the context of “economic advantage” and “cultural disadvantage”, the crossborder M&As of Chinese corporates are encountered with asymmetrical game between economy and culture. From the perspective of the Daooriented corporate culture, the paper offers M&As of Chinese corporates responding tactics based on relevant cases, which are likely to enrich and develop crossborder M&A theories and provide effective suggestions for the cultural integration of crossborder M&AS of the Chinese corporates.
