Relationship of Information Asymmetry and Diversification and Performance in Service Firms

Abstract  

Based on 57 samples of Chinese service firms, this research analyze the relationship among the information asymmetry, diversification and performance of service firms. Research results indicate that the diversification is more balanced in experience service firms than that of search service firms, and that diversification has a positive relationship with service performance.
