Abstract Currently, management science theory has become less attractive to managers. While mainstream management acquired “discipline legitimacy”, they lost the “practice legitimacy”. Although the scientific researcher emphasize the falsification in a specific research question, however, “the phenomenon of universal management” itself can not be confirmed or falsified. Therefore, their idea to promote positivism without limited is “unscientific”. The defense of positivism research methods is actually a concept defense and an ideology defense. The gradual weakening of management legalization movement is inevitable. The conflict, confrontation and integration of multiparadigm will replace “the dominance of positivism” to become the future mainstream of management.
