Emotional Intelligence Measurement and Utility: A Study Based on WEIS

Abstract  

This paper uses MANOVA and regression analysis technique to analyze the sample demographical variables’ effects on the emotional intelligence with samples of 160 civil servants in Shanghai. The paper also puts forward some suggestions for management practices related to emotional intelligence based on the research results.
