This article puts forward the concept of the generalized WBS, studies its basis, breakdown methods, principles and the significance. Based on the framework of the Chinese Project Management body of knowledge (C-PMBOK), the article further proposes breakdown processes and integration model, which could be employed as a technical means throughout the various phases of the project to simplify the project systems, and guarantee the integrity and unity of projects.
