The 3rd symposium on the Study of Management in China has made the following three significant results: i) discussion on the basic issues of Theory and Practice, Problems and Methods and so forth; ii) construction of the management science with Chinese characteristics; iii) the management theory originally put forward by Chinese scholars. The topics of the symposium also covered public administration, social responsibility and ethics of enterprises, organizational behavior and human resource management, management of stateowned enterprises, knowledge management and virtual enterprises, etc.
