Focusing Areas of Management Science and Engineering: A Literature Quantitative Analysis

By the use of the articles related to Management Science and Engineering which were stored up in 117 journals collected by SCI or SSCI(19942004), or in 77 domestic journals(19942004) , or in ISTP(20002004) as our source data, a comprehensive analysis of the aspects of the disciplines, including their history, current situation and future focusing areas, was given on the basis of literature quantitative analysis. What makes these areas attractive and what difference there is between international focusing areas and domestic focusing ones were paid great attention to. The research has contributed to designing our development plans for the disciplines and selecting the prior supporting areas.
