With the economy globalization as well as increasing environmental and resource concerns, green supply chain management (GSCM) has become an important strategy for enterprises to improve their international competitiveness; however, GSCM is still at the early stage in China, which demands further researches in theories of the implementation in Chinese enterprises. Based on the system dynamics theory, this paper develops a dynamic model of GSCM implementation in enterprises, which divides the operational process to the dynamic system, the operational system and the feedback system. By analyzing relationships among pressure/drivers, practice and performance, this paper studies the driving mechanism for GSCM implementation.
