Abstract:Based on the theory of social cognition, this study explores whether, how and when paradoxical leadership shapes employees’intrapreneurship behavior using samples from 477 employees. The main findings are as follows: paradoxical leadership has a positive impact on employees’ intrapreneurship behavior. Leader-follower value congruence mediates the above relationship. Employees’ proactive personality could strengthen the positive relationship between paradoxical leadership and employees’ intrapreneurship behavior, and regulate the indirect effect of leader-follower value congruence.
