Abstract:The cross integration of science and economy promotes more and more academic main bodies to engage into the market and found economic entities, which brings the new issue of academic entrepreneurship. This study firstly focused on scholars, which are microunits of academic entrepreneurship as the research object. According to the different entrepreneurship orientations, scholars have four forms, which are newschool, oldschool, the reluctant entrepreneur and traditionalist. Based on the theory of role identity, we build the role identity Evolution Patterns of scholars.
