Role of Health Alliance in Extended Nursing for Chronic Wound

Abstract: Objective To explore the role and significance of health alliance in extended nursing for chronic wound. Method A total of 289 patients with chronic wound in the Fifth Affliated Hospital of Southern Medical Unviersity from January 2017 to June 2018 were divided into control group with conventional extended nursing and intervention group, in which extended nursing was provided in role of health allicance. The frequency and cost of dressing change and the cure rate after 12-week intervention in the 2 groups were compared. Results There were significantly less times of dressing change and lower medical cost in the intervention group (P<0.05). The cure rate in the intervention group was 93.9% and that in the control group 74.7%, which showed statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion With health allicance, patients with chronic wound can receive standard and effective extended nursing and the cure rate is improved.
