以中国制造业上市公司为研究样本，实证考察工业机器人使用对管理层年报语调操纵行为的影响。研究发现，工业机器人使用显著抑制了管理层年报语调操纵行为；并且，公司人力资本水平与技术基础会对上述抑制效应的发挥产生影响。机制分析结果表明，工业机器人使用能够强化公司内部治理、吸引投资者关注，以及提升公司业绩表现，从而约束管理层语调操纵的动机与空间。异质性检验发现，工业机器人使用对管理层年报语调操纵的约束作用，在公司聘请非四大会计师事务所、所属行业竞争较为激烈，以及所处宏观经济环境较为不确定时更为显著。

Using Chinese A-share listed manufacturing companies as the research sample, this paper empirically examines the impact of the use of industrial robots on the tone management of annual reports. The results show that the use of industrial robots has significantly constrained the tone management of annual reports. In addition, the companies’ human capital and technological bases contribute to this constraining effect. The mechanism analysis reveals that industrial robots can improve corporate governance efficiency, attract market attention, and enhance corporate performance, thereby limiting executives’motivation and room to conduct tone management. In addition, the heterogeneity tests show that the constraining impact of industrial robots on tone management is more pronounced when the companies hire a non-Big Four audit firms, belong to a more competitive industries, and operate in a more uncertain macroeconomic environment.
