Abstract Based on the theories of psychology, organizational behavior and management, taking values, attitudes and motivation as variables of behavior characteristics, the paper makes an empirical study on the behavior characteristics of different groups of managers in enterprise management control. Through cluster analysis the control object could be divided into four groups, which are collectivism tendencies type, rule compliance type, selfvalue realization type and environment cognition type. The study indicates that each group has presented diverse demographic characteristics. The study further makes investigation on the relationship between management performance of this four groups and control links such as Goal Difficulty Moderateness, Performance Assessment Fairness, and Information Feedback Timeliness etc.
