Abstract From the perspective of features of functional states of birth, growth, transformation, harvest, and storage in the philosophy of Five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and human body building principles of following the natural climates as well, the papers discusses the harmonious academic development of Management Science in China in terms of the main characteristics of scientific research, educational training, management practice, academic organization and application. It further argues that the scientific academic research should be reinforced at the current stage and leaders in the academic field should guide and adjust Management Science in China at different stages by following the principles of birth, growth, transformation, harvest, and storage with the modern knowledge management theories.
