Influence of Institutional Investors on Directors Board Efficiency

Abstract  

The influence of institutional investors on director board efficiency was studied using the panel data model.  The results show that institutional ownership relates slightly to the current board size, board independence, leadership structure, board prompting and the number of board meeting, but that institutional investors have significant relationship with the board independence and the number of the board. The paper improves institutional investors is helpful to directors board efficiency.
