Influence of Leader Behaviors and Interpersonal Relationship on Group Cohesion- in Enterprises and Its Consequences:An Empirical Study of Hotels' Employees |

Abstract Form the theories of group cohesion in organization behavior and management, the influence of leader behaviors and interpersonal relationship on group cohesion and the relationship between group cohesion and employees' job satisfaction in the context of China hotels were investigated. The results indicate that, except the innovation-adaptability leader behavior, the goal-control leader behavior,solicitude-support leader behavior and interpersonal relationship influenced the group cohesion positively; that group cohesion has significantly positive impact on employees' job satisfaction; and that group cohesion plays the mediated role on the relationship between the interpersonal relationship, the goal-control leader behavior and the employees' job satisfaction completely, plays the partially mediated role on the relationship between solicitude-support leader behavior and the employees' job satisfaction, and plays none mediated role on the relationship between the innovationadaptability leader behavior and the employees' job satisfaction. The implications of the findings are also discussed.
