Abstract Based on the perspective of business model resilience, this study conducts a multi-case comparative study on the ecosystem-oriented business model of e-commerce enterprises. It is found that under the high uncertainty context, the higher diversity of realization methods of value proposition, the stronger the resilience of the ecosystem-oriented business model is; the higher the robustness of core stakeholders, the stronger the resilience of the ecosystem-oriented business model is; the higher the local clustering degree of the value activity system, the stronger the resilience of the ecosystem-oriented business model is; the higher the coherence degree of cross-niche value activities, the stronger the resilience of the ecosystem-oriented business model is. Based on these results, this study proposes some ecosystem-oriented business model innovation strategies under high uncertainty situations.
