Abstract  This study takes Neusoft as the analysis object, and deconstructs the solution development mechanism under the service-dominant logic through exploratory case study. The results show that solution development process faces the constraints of vague customer needs and enterprise solution development capabilities. The key for the enterprise to design and delivery solutions is to enabling customers to participate in the development process and integrating resources needed to improve development capabilities. With the dynamic changes of the development situation, the enterprise recognizes customer needs by promoting the transformation of customer participation roles, and uses the transformation of resource integration roles to enhance solution development capabilities. In order to achieve value creation, the solution development under the service-dominant logic shows an evolutionary process, in which the customized formal characteristics of the solution gradually weaken.
