Research on the Influence Mechanism of the Strength of Traditional Cultural Training on Employees’ Work Engagement

Abstract  Based on event system theory,this study research the impact of the strength of traditional cultural training on employees’work engagement,and to explore the mediating role of psychological capital and the moderating role of leader-member exchange by using longitudinal data from the two companies. Results show that: the strength of traditional cultural training has a significant positive effect on work engagement. Psychological capital mediates the relationship between the strength of traditional cultural training and work engagement. Leader-member exchange not only moderates the relationship between the strength of traditional cultural training and psychological capital but also moderates the mediating effect of psychological capital between the strength of traditional cultural training and work engagement,the higher the quality of leader-member exchange,the stronger the mediating effect of psychological capital will be.
