Abstract Based on the review of the literature, this paper analyzes individual factors and situational factors can affect employees’ pro-environmental behavior (PEB); PEB has certain utility value at individual and organizational level, that is, it can shape individual and organizational outcomes. Moreover, this paper proposes that future research can explore the antecedents and consequences of PEB as well as its underlying mechanisms and boundary conditions, in order to provide some reference and inspiration for further research.
