Abstract  In recent years, more and more researchers call on the change of the traditional research pattern of using existing western theories to interpret management phenomenon in China, to directly face Chinese management practices, during which Chinese management context has received more attentions. Therefore, this research attempts to systematically explore the origin, structure and internalizing mechanism of Chinese management context, and draws several conclusions: The difference of thinking mode between the western countries and China reflects the origin for the different management contexts, and the establishment of Chinese management context relies on the Chinese traditional thinking logic, namely Holistic Thinking; Chinese management context consists of institution context, market context and social context, each with different characteristics, but interlinking together; and setting up the common understanding on surrounding context of certain firm among managers and even all organization members through interaction and communication, reflects an internalizing process of context, which is the key for transforming context to specific organization strategy and behaviors.
