Metaanalysis of the Relationship between Political Connections and Enterprises’ Performance

Abstract  This paper makes a new study on 33 related papers on relation of political connection and enterprise’s performance around the world with Metaanalysis method. The results show that between political connection and enterprise’s performance there exists complicated relationship. Overall, political connection has a positive influence on value of enterprises, but not on financial performance. However, in China, political connection has significant positive influence on not only value of enterprise but also some indicators of financial performance does. And this influence is higher than the overall level.
