Abstract:Drawing on the transactional theory of stress, this study constructs a moderated mediation model to explore the double-edged effects of leader-signaled knowledge hiding on subordinate knowledge hiding and its boundary conditions. Based on the pairing data from team members at two-time points, Use path analysis to test hypothetical models we use path analysis to test hypothetical models. Results reveal that: on the one hand, leader-signaled knowledge hiding would induce moral disengagement, which in turn promote subordinate knowledge hiding; on the one hand, it might awaken relations operation, which subsequently inhibits subordinate knowledge hiding. And the double-edged effects are related to the joint moderating effect of moral identity and power distance orientation.
