Abstract: Objective To provide prevention and control measures for anesthesia nurses during the outbreak of COVID-19. Methods According to national and provincial-level prevention and control programs and guidelines of infection control in the operating room and recommendations from several medical associations and hospitals, combined with the characteristics of anesthesia nursing, recommendations for prevention and infection control measures in anesthesia care were developed by several anesthesia experts. Results Expert consensus on prevention and control measures in anesthesia care for COVID-19 patients was achieved, including care for suspected or confirmed patients during anesthesia and daily protection in anesthesia care during novel coronavirus epidemic. Conclusion Expert consensus on the prevention and control measures in anesthesia care for COVID-19 patients provides reference for medical staff in and out of Guangdong Province.
