Construction of Evaluation Index System of Graduation Practice Bases for Nursing Undergraduates in Guangdong Based on Context, Input, Process, Product Model

Abstract: Objective To develop an evaluation index system of graduation practice bases for nursing undergraduates in Guangdong based on context, input, process, product model (CIPP) model and to provide reference for the construction, management and assessment of graduation practice bases. Methods The initial system was developed after literature review and group discussion and 21 experts were surveyed for 2 rounds by using Delphi method. The index weight of each item was identified through analytic hierarchy process. Results The enthusiasm of experts in two rounds was both 100%, and the authoritative coefficient was 0.862. The coordination coefficient, in the second round, of the first-,second- and third-level indicators was 0.362,0.350 and 0.342 respectively(all P<0.01). The final version of evaluation index system of graduation practice bases for nursing undergraduates consisted of 5 first-, 11 second- and 32 third-level indicators. The weights were 0.064~0.397 for the first-level indicators, 0.010~0.265 for the second-level, and 0.002~0.181 for the third-level ones. The consistency ratios were all bellow 0.100. Conclusion The developed system is scientific and reliable and it provides guidance and reference for the construction of graduation practice bases in Guangdong.
