Application of Dynamic Scenario Simulation Based on Autonomous Learning System in Acute and Critical Care Training

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of dynamic scenario simulation based on autonomous learning system in acute and critical care training. Methods Fifty nursing undergraduates in grade 2015 from a college in Hunan Province was randomly selected as the observation group, and another 48 nurses as the control group. Dynamic scenario simulation based on the autonomous learning system was used in the observation group for teaching, and routine teaching was performed in the control group used. At the end of the course, the results of the two groups in critical care nursing operation test, self-learning ability and assessment of teaching from students in the observation group were compared. Results Students in the observation group performed better in critical care nursing operation test and demonstrated better self-learning ability and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Students in the observation group had a positive attitude towards the teaching. Conclusion Dynamic scenario simulation based on autonomous learning system can stimulate learning interest, and improve the performance of nursing students, independent learning ability, and comprehensive ability of nursing students.
