1265 A Case Study on the Paradoxical Relationship between Stability and Dynamics within a Complex Logistic System
LIN Haifen,GUO Shanshan,HU Yanfang
Based on a case study on Suning Logistics, from the perspective of paradox, this study attempts to identify the internal stability and dynamics mechanisms among the complex logistics system, explore the mutual promotion mechanism between them, and build a paradoxical relationship model. The result shows that stability and dynamics mechanisms coexist in complex logistics systems, which ensures the efficient operation of the system. The stability and dynamics mechanisms in complex logistics systems show an interdependent relationship. That is, stability process mechanisms can support dynamics results, and dynamics process mechanisms can support stability results. Different process mechanisms of stability have different effects on dynamics results while different process mechanisms of dynamics have different effects on stability results.

XIE Guojie,ZHENG Yanling,TIAN Yu
Based on the analysis of multiple cases in Wuling Mountain area, this study explored the interaction and the micro-operation mechanism among subsidiary initiative, innovation value chain and supply chain integration in the undeveloped areas of China. The results show that the different dimensions of innovation value chain and supply chain integration, and the different dimensions of subsidiary initiative are diverse in the micro-operation mechanism. Among them, idea generation, idea conversion and supplier integration form an interactive mechanism with subsidiary initiative through internal network embedding and external network embedding. Idea diffusion, customer integration and enterprise internal integration form an interactive mechanism with subsidiary initiative through internal network embedding. This study revealed the micro-operation mechanism among the subsidiary initiative, innovation value chain and the integration of supply chain, enriched the literature and research foundation of the subsidiary initiative, and effectively enhanced and expanded the theoretical research on the successful realization of secondary entrepreneurship by the subsidiary in the underdeveloped region.

1287 Humble Board, Strategic Radicalization and Risk Taking: The Moderating Effect of the Informal Hierarchy
ZHANG Jintao,LEI Xinghui,SU Taoyong
Based on the perspective of self-transcendence and avoiding overconfidence of humble leaders, we study how the humble board influences the strategic risk taking of enterprises using the data from 730 manufacturing enterprises listed on Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares. The results show that the humble board promotes risk taking through choosing radical strategy, which indicates the willingness of the humble board to transcend itself rather than avoid overconfidence. As the informal hierarchy of the board becomes clear, the mediating effect of strategic radicalization is further enhanced. After distinguishing the nature of property right, we find the effect mechanism of the humble board on strategic risk taking is significant in non-state-owned enterprises instead of state-owned enterprises.

1296 Objective-Based Integrated Institutionalization in Complex Transnational Environment——A Case Study on Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline Project
WANG Liping,HU Ruiying
This study focuses on the institutional integration of organizations, and explores how organizations can achieve their goals through institutional entrepreneurship, legitimacy strategy, institutional logic adjustment and cross-hierarchy institutional arrangement in the complex transnational context. Through the case study of the Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline project, it is found that the process of organization integration and institutionalization includes two parallel related processes: one is the process of gaining legitimacy through institutional entrepreneurship; the other is the process of integrating multiple institutional logic. The institutional environment of an organization is an important condition for the realization of integrated institutionalization.

1307 Airbnb Host Self-Presentation Pattern and Its Impact on Guests’ Trust and Booking Behavior
WANG Hongli,ZHOU Mengnan
In order to better understand the relationship between host self-presentation and guests’ booking behavior in the peer-to-peer accommodation, this study extracted the themes from 4396 Airbnb host self-presentation information (Study 1) and examined their relationship with guests’ booking behavior (Study 2). Drawing upon the signal theory, a situational experiment (Study 3) was conducted to explore the influence mechanism of host self-presentation on the booking behavior. The results reveal that there are mainly social-oriented information and personal information being presented in host self-presentation. Meanwhile, social-oriented information as effective signals is easier to assess in Airbnb, which improves guests’ booking intention. Trust mediates the relationship between host self-presentation patterns and guests’ booking intention.

1317 A Conceptual Model of the Positive and Negative Mechanisms and Boundary Conditions of Voice Habit
LI Jia,LI Ye,ZHENG Qianshu
Taking voice habit as an unconscious process, we explored the possible positive and negative effects of voice habit. To begin with, we briefly explained the nature of voice habit and distinguished it from the traditional deliberative process of voice in terms of assumptions and main characteristics. Moreover, we integrated the sender-message-channel-receiver (SMCR) model of communication and extant voice literature to propose a conceptual model of voice habit. Specifically, on the one hand, voice habit could result in leaders’ high perceived conscientiousness and high perceived initiative for employees; on the other hand, voice habit could also result in more leaders’ negative emotion and more leader ostracism. These underlying mechanisms would account for the relationships between voice habit and voice endorsement, performance evaluation and promotability. Furthermore, we also identified possible moderators from the communication content (i.e., voice type), communication recipient (i.e., leader epistemic motivation) and communication channel (i.e., voice channel) categories to put forward certain propositions. And then we attempted to build a dual functional mechanism model of voice habit to delineate its double-edged sword effects. Finally, we addressed the future research directions of the theoretical model.

1325 Why Do Service Employees Engage in Customer-Oriented Deviant Behaviors: A Motivational Perspective Account
LI Pengbo,ZHOU Ying,WANG Zhen,SUN Yuqing
Taking the front-line service employees working in the hotel industry as an example, this research investigated why service employees engage in customer-oriented deviant behaviors. Employing the grounded theory, the study identified five motivations behind these behaviors, including morality and ethics, organizational interests protection, interactive relations with customer, customer resources attainment and by personal interests acquirement. Further analyses of motivations and their interrelationships yielded testable propositions and constructed a model of the formation mechanism of customer-oriented deviant behavior. Theoretical contributions and practical implications were also discussed.

1335 The Heterogeneous Influence of Entrepreneurship on Short-Term and Long-Term Well-Being
LI Cirong,LI Chunxuan,YANG Yanyu,CHANG Naifang
Drawing on the hedonic adaptation theory, this study usedmulti-level liner growth model to examine the short-term and long-term changes of entrepreneurs’ well-being after they started up the business and the moderating role of educational level. Data came from China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) 2010~2018, and this study yielded 5 wave-pair data points from 2 610 entrepreneurs. Before engaging in entrepreneurial activities, entrepreneurs’ well-being level showed a natural upward trend. From the dimension of well-being, the social status and future confidence of entrepreneurs have been significantly improved instantly. With time passed by, the development trend of social status perception and future confidence slowed down compared with the natural trends. Meanwhile, the well-being development trend of entrepreneurs with high education levels, including happiness, life satisfaction, social status, and future confidence slowed down more drastically.

1344 Failure Learning and Breakthrough Innovation: The Moderating Role of Management Attention and External Knowledge Search
WU Yanbo,SHAO Yunfei,YIN Junjie
Drawing on experience learning theory, this study discussed the impact of failure learning on breakthrough innovation, and investigated the mechanism of management attention and external knowledge search by collecting 313 enterprise questionnaires in high-tech industries. The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between failure learning at the individual level and breakthrough innovation, and failure learning at the organizational level has obviously positive effect on breakthrough innovation. Moreover, external knowledge search has positive moderating effect on the relationship between failure learning and breakthrough innovation at the organizational level, and managers’ attention has negative moderating effect on the relationship between failure learning and breakthrough innovation at the organizational level.

1354 Research on the Impact of International Knowledge Spillovers on the Innovation Performance of High-Tech Industries under the Effection of R&D Human Capital
LI Shengnan,XU Min,LIN Zhouzhou
This study divides international knowledge spillover into dual channels of foreign direct investment(FDI) and import trade. Then it constructs threshold panel regression models by using the panel data of 27 provincial high-tech industries in China during 2007~2018, taking R&D human capital as the threshold variable, and empirically analyzes the nonlinear effect of dual-channel international knowledge spillover on the innovation performance of high-tech industry. The results show that: The impact of the dual-channel international knowledge spillover of foreign direct investment and import trade on the innovation performance of high-tech industry has significant nonlinear characteristics with R&D human capital as the dual threshold. With the improvement of the threshold of R&D human capital, the promotion effects of foreign direct investment and import trade knowledge spillover on the innovation performance of high-tech industry both first descend and then rise. The scale of high-tech enterprises and the level of transportation infrastructure have significantly positive impacts on the innovation performance of high-tech industry.

1363 Influence Mechanism of New Venture Creation Decision of Migrants Based on Configurational Perspective
XIE Lingmin,XIE Zhimin,CHEN Chong
Based on the cross-cultural cognitive model, this study proposes an integrated analysis framework to understand the new venture creation decision of migrants by using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis based on configurational perspective, and explores the configuration effect of multiple factors on entrepreneurship of migrants. The results are as follows: none of the multiple factors from social context, cultural diversity, and personal characteristics can constitute alone the necessary condition for the entrepreneurial decision-making of the migrants, while improving institutional environment plays a more general role in promoting entrepreneurship of migrants; there are two paths to drive the entrepreneurship of migrants which are market-institution dominant path with large market demand and good institutional environment, and education-institution dominant path with low educational attainment and good institutional environment, indicating the existence of multiple, equally effective paths for promoting entrepreneurship of migrants.

1371 Cooperative Advertising and Pricing Strategy in Omni-Channel Supply Chain
HU Jiao,LI Li,ZHANG Hua,ZHU Xingzhen
To study the advertising cooperation and pricing strategy in the omni-channel supply chain, the omni-channel supply chain system composed of one manufacturer and one retailer was considered, including offline, pure online and BOPS channels. Based on the three channel combinations formed by consumer channel preference and market segmentation, we develop the optimal pricing and advertising cooperation decision-making models of the omni-channel supply chain. Compared with non-cooperative advertising strategy, we analyze the influence of advertising cooperation on the omni-channel supply chain. The results show that: in the omni-channel system of offline, pure online and BOPS, the higher the BOPS channel commission level, the higher the manufacturer and retailer’s pricing. Advertising cooperation strategies will promote the manufacturer and retailer to improve advertising levels, increase market demand in most cases. But advertising cooperation in the omni-channel mode does not always increase the profit of the retailer.

1382 Optimal Pricing Decision of Supply Chain Considering Different Types of Consumers Driven by Blockchain Technology
SUN Zhongmiao,XU Qi,SHI Baoli
Based on the identification needs of loyal customers and general customers for the authenticity of brand products, this study considers the time costs and verification effect of blockchain technology to identify the authenticity of products, the optimal pricing problem of supply chain driven by blockchain technology. The decentralized and centralized decision models for the supply chain under the traditional model and blockchain technology are established respectively. The equilibrium solution of the model is solved and analyzed by game theory. The results show that only when the supply chain system meets a certain critical condition, the use of blockchain technology is advantageous. And, the use of blockchain weakens the dependence of supply chain members on loyal customers. In addition, although the implementation of blockchain will increase the optimal wholesale price and sales price of products and the demand of loyal customers will decrease, the general customers’ demand and total customers’ demand will increase.

1392 Pricing Strategy of a Two-Sided Market Online Video Platform
ZHANG Shichun,CHEN Jing
Online video platforms that adopt a two-sided pricing model usually operate two types of businesses simultaneously, i.e., membership services and advertising services. In this study, we take an online video platform that adopt a two-sided pricing model as the research object. Considering the actual number of ads watched by the audience and the promotion intensity chosen by the advertisers, a game-theoretic model is formulated to investigate measures to coordinate the conflicts between two types of clients on the platform. By giving the analytical equation of the optimal two-sided pricing model, the study shows that if the platform wants to adopt a two-sided pricing model, it needs to maintain a high number of exclusive videos for members, and try to attract viewers to pay to become members through exclusive videos as much as possible. In addition, the study points out that the online video platform charging fees in two sides need to be biased when deciding pricing strategies, focusing on the market that can bring it more profits.

1412 Entrepreneurship Research from a Pathological Perspective:Literature Review and Future Prospects
YU Xiaoyu,TAO Yida,XU Wantian
Based on 38 articles published in the field of entrepreneurship, general management, pathology and multidisciplinary sciences, this article provides a systematic literature review of entrepreneurship research from a pathological perspective. It is found that the existing research has explored the relationship between pathological characteristics (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, in particular) and entrepreneurial activities. It has also explored the effects of pathological characteristics on entrepreneurial decision-making, entrepreneurial cognition and entrepreneurial performance, and the influencing factors of pathological characteristics or entrepreneurs’ diseases. Future research can extend the research context, combine the current research with entrepreneurial failure, focus on the relationship between pathological characteristics and three elements of entrepreneurship, concern the dark sides of pathological characteristics, and apply theories and research methods from other disciplines, in order to promote and deepen the development of entrepreneurship research from a pathological perspective.
