Synergetic and Symbiosis Framework in the Digital Era:System Efficiency and Value Evolution
ZHU Li,LIU Chao,CHEN Chunhua
Based on the concept of “synergetic & symbiosis”, this study proposes a synergetic and symbiosis framework for enterprise growth in the digital era, based on three schools of classical enterprise growth theory consisting of “internal resource growth theory”, “networked growth theory”, and “legitimate growth theory”, as well as Quinn’s “competitive value framework”. The framework is built through two dimensions, the first dimension is combining empowerment and control, and the second is combining internal and external. The framework presents four quadrants respectively, i.e., symbiotic system quadrant, human resource quadrant, institutional process quadrant, and linkage model quadrant.

The Influences of Socioemotional Wealth Goals on Interlock Network Structure of Chinese Family Firms
ZHU Di,GE Jianhua,YANG Fan
This study investigates how Chinese family firms are embedded in board interlocks and explores the underlying mechanisms of such structural characteristics. Our analyses of board interlocks among Chinese listed firms from 2008 to 2019 reveal that, compared to non-family firms, family firms tend to construct a more closed interlock network because they are more influenced by family logic and take the preservation of socio-emotional wealth as the main reference point in decision-making. In particular, when the controlling family’s formal control over the firm is weaker, its network structure will be more closed. The results suggest that for family firms with a high ownership balance index or a low separation ratio, the network closure is strengthened. On the contrary, exposure to corporate logic will weaken family firms’ propensity to network closure. For CEOs who have an MBA degree or have previously worked in the financial industry before, the network closure of their firms is significantly weakened.

The Introduction of Foreign Shareholders and the Internationalization of Family Firms Under the Dual-Cycle Pattern
ZHANG Wenlong,FENG Baojun,SUN Xiufeng
Based on the perspective of resources and capabilities, this study takes China’s listed family firms from 2010 to 2018 as samples to explore the internal impact mechanism of Chinese listed family firms’ introduction of foreign investors on their internationalization. The empirical results show that: the existence and diversification of foreign investors can significantly improve the performance of Chinese family firms’ international operation and increase the overseas income of family firms; there is a significant inverted U-shaped relationship between the proportion of foreign shares and the internationalization of family firms; corporate innovation plays a mediating role in it. Further research shows that corporate financing constraints have a moderating effect on the impact of foreign shares on the internationalization of family firms; the internationalization of family firms has a differentiated impact on enterprise development, and is positively moderated by foreign shares.

Research on the Impact of Wife Involvement on Agency Costs in Family Firms
QI Yangyang,HE Xiaogang
Based on the role conflict theory, this study empirically tests the influence of the management involved by the owner’s wife on the agency cost of family business, and examines the moderating effect of the owner’s marriage duration and neutral parents, as well as the mediating impact of in-laws participating in governance. It is found that the wife’s involvement in management will significantly increase the agency cost of the family business, especially when the wife’s education level is equal to or even higher than the owner’s. The marriage duration of the owner and the neutral parents significantly weaken the agency cost of the wife’s involvement in management; In-laws’ participation in governance plays an intermediary role in the process of the wife’s involvement affecting agency costs.

The Effect of Mindfulness on Workplace Well-Being from the Perspective of the Integration of COR Theory and SOC Model
WEI Wu,LI Jinrong,LIU Xia
By integrating conservation of resource theory (COR theory) and selective optimization with compensation model (SOC model), this study explores and constructs a theoretical model of employee mindfulness on workplace well-being with emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable and objectives balance as a moderating variable. It reveals the effect mechanism of how mindfulness helps employees promote workplace well-being through resource utilization and integration. Research results show that on the one hand, mindfulness increases workplace well-being through resource selection to achieve resource gain effect; on the other hand, mindfulness reduces emotional exhaustion through resource compensation to enhance workplace well-being, thus reducing resource depletion effect. The objectives balance not only moderates the direct effect of emotional exhaustion on workplace well-being through resource optimization, but also moderates the mediating effect of emotional exhaustion between mindfulness and workplace well-being, which finally forms the resource balance effect. In addition, the mediating effect of emotional exhaustion will be weakened in the context of higher objectives balance.

Research on Influence Mechanism of Employee Trait Mindfulness on Proactive Behavior from the Pespective of Conservation of Resources Theory
ZHANG Jing,NAN Xiuyan,NI Dan
Based on the conservation of resources theory, this study explores the mechanism and boundary conditions of employee trait mindfulness on proactive behavior. By analyzing the data of 63 leaders and 222 employees at three time points, the results show that employee trait mindfulness has a positive predictive effect on proactive behavior. Ego depletion fully mediates the relationship between employee trait mindfulness and proactive behavior. In addition, humble leader behavior negatively moderates the relationship between ego depletion and proactive behavior, in other words, when leaders exhibit low humble behavior, ego depletion has a greater negative impact on proactive behavior, and the indirect effect of employee trait mindfulness on proactive behavior via ego depletion is significant.

The Impact of Enterprise Generic Technology Innovation Participation on Enterprise Green Technology Innovation from the Perspective of Innovation Chain
WANG Mingyue,LI Yingming,WANG Zitong,CAO Xiangjie,SHI Wenqiang
From the perspective of technological innovation chain, this study analyzes the transmission path of “enterprise generic technological innovation participation→enterprise innovation element search→enterprise green technological innovation”, and the moderation effect of external environment dynamics and enterprise environmental commitment on the transmission path, so as to construct a mediator model with dual moderating variables. The empirical test is carried out with 311 resource and technology intensive enterprises as data samples. The research conclusions include the following aspects: ①Enterprises’ participation in industrial generic technological innovation can significantly promote the improvement of enterprises’ green technological innovation power. The search depth and breadth of enterprise innovation elements are important mediators. ②The dynamic of the external environment negatively moderates the relationship between the participation of enterprise generic technological innovation and the breadth or depth of enterprise innovation element search. ③Under the conditions of certain search breadth and depth of enterprise innovation elements, the higher enterprise resource commitment, resources, environment, ecology and other factors will become more important elements in enterprise production decision-making, and then have an impact on green technology innovation. There is some variability between the breadth and depth of the element search.

The Influence of College Student Entrepreneurs’ Psychological Ownership on Vigilant Market Learning
YANG Jinglan,YANG Zhi
Based on identity theory, this study constructs a framework of “psychological state-emotion-behavior”, and reveal the influencing mechanism of college student entrepreneurs’ psychological characteristics on vigilant market learning through entrepreneurial passion. Using two waves of questionnaire data from 162 college student entrepreneurs, this study uses the structural equation model to analyze data and test research hypotheses. The results show that:①psychological ownership has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial passion. ②Entrepreneurial passion has a significant positive effect on vigilant market learning. ③When the venture project has obtained venture capital, psychological ownership has a stronger positive effect on entrepreneurial passion, and the indirect positive effect of the psychological ownership on vigilant market learning through entrepreneurial passion is also stronger.

A Study of the Effect and Mechanism of Regulatory Information Disclosure on Corporate Innovation Investment
LI Wengui,LU Jun
Taking Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed firms as samples, this study theoretically analyzes the effect and mechanism of regulatory information disclosure on corporate innovation investment. Empirical evidence shows that, there is a significantly positive relation between regulatory information disclosure and corporate innovation investment. This effect mainly exists in non-state-owned enterprises, and it is more significant in the period of higher economic policy uncertainty. Further tests show that strengthening the transparency of supervision, which leads to the reduction of improper government intervention and the improvement of internal governance mechanism, is an important specific mechanism for regulatory information disclosure to enhance corporate innovation investment. Meanwhile, the results show that the disclosure of regulatory information can significantly improve the total factor productivity of enterprises in the jurisdiction.

Structural Dimension and Scale Development of User Engagement with Smart Wearable Health Technologies
LI Caining,BI Xinhua,CHEN Xiaoyu,YANG Yihao
To explore the connotation of user engagement with smart wearable health technologies (SWHTs), this study adopts a “qualitative-quantitative” sequential mixed-methods design: In the qualitative phase, we identify the structural dimension of user engagement with SWHTs by combining the in-depth interview and the grounded theory research; In the quantitative phase, we develop the measurement scale by following the standard paradigm of developing formal instrument items. The results show that user engagement with SWHTs is comprised of six dimensions. Of them, cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, behavioral engagement and social engagement are consistent with extant literature albeit with different contextual meanings. Sensory engagement and philosophy engagement can reflect novel human-computer interaction phenomena in SWHTs settings. The formal scale consists of 19 items from the six dimensions above. Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, the reliability and validity of the scale are satisfactory.

Research on the Impact of Employee-Organization Fit and Employee Online Rating on Company Value
CHENG Yanan,GAO Baojun,CHEN Jiao
Based on the company financial reports and employee reviews on the Glassdoor platform, a new data source, this paper introduces the competitive value framework and employs the Word2vec model to mine out the company’s declared culture and employee perception culture from two types of texts in the perspective of corporate culture. On this basis, a new measurement of employee-organization fit is proposed. Then we examine the impact of employee-organization fit and employee online rating (measuring employee satisfaction) on company value. The results show that: under the new measurement method, there is a certain difference between the company’s declared culture and employees’ perceived culture on the whole, and the employee-organization fit of most companies is at a high level; employee online rating and employee-organization fit have a positive impact on company value, and the latter will enhance the role of the former in promoting the value of the company.

Two-Stage Pricing Strategy of the O2O Supply Chain for Fresh Produce Based on Blockchain Technology
TAN Chunqiao,ZENG Yuqing
This paper considers an O2O supply chain for fresh produce consisting of an e-commerce platform and offline retailers, in which the offline retailers adopt a two-stage pricing measure of full price period and discount period. This paper considers consumer strategic degree and constructs a pricing model for the supply chain for fresh produce in the traditional model and the model with introducing blockchain technology, studies the equilibrium pricing and information disclosure strategy of the offline retailers. Finally, the impact of information disclosure strategy, consumer strategic degree and blockchain unit use cost on the equilibrium price and social welfare is illustrated. The results show that regardless of the level of consumer strategic degree, the offline retailer should disclose the true quality of fresh produce through blockchain technology only if the true quality of the fresh produce is larger. The larger or smaller unit application cost of blockchain technology benefits the offline retailers, the e-commerce platform and consumers. When consumers are less strategic, the offline retailers and the e-commerce platform can benefit from consumer strategic behavior and corresponding social welfare will also be enhanced.

Study on the Impact of Green Tax Reform on Corporate Environmental Performance
YU Lianchao,GENG Hongji,BI Qian
Taking the implementation of the Environmental Protection Tax Law in 2018 as an opportunity, this study explores the impact of green tax reform on corporate environmental performance using a double difference method based on empirical data of A-share industrial enterprises from 2013 to 2019. The results show that green tax reform can significantly enhance corporate environmental performance, and the enhancement is increasing over time. An examination of the market system and the environmental system shows that green tax reform is more likely to enhance corporate environmental performance when the market system is poor, government regulation is strong, and media monitoring is strong. An exploration of the impact mechanism reveals that the mechanism of green tax reform to enhance corporate environmental performance lies in promoting corporate environmental investment and corporate green innovation. And the mechanism effect of promoting corporate green innovation, a long-term approach, is more significant than that of promoting corporate environmental investment, a short-term approach.

Evolutionary Game Decision in a Platform Supply Chain with Digital Empowerment
ZHAO Xiaomin,ZHAI Liying,JIANG Yin
Focusing on the context of digital empowerment of platforms, this study uses evolutionary game theory to construct a decision model for platform providers and enterprises, and explores the evolution mechanism between platform empowerment and enterprise innovation. The results show that: ①Setting reasonable empowerment service fees is the premise for platform providers and enterprises to reach the best strategy (empowerment, innovation); ②When the empowerment cost is low, platform providers and enterprises can realize the optimal equilibrium strategy (empowerment, innovation), even if the innovation risk of enterprises is high. However, when the empowerment cost and the innovation risk are high, both sides may fall into the worst strategy (no empowerment, no innovation). Therefore, if platform providers want to stimulate the innovation of participating enterprises by digital empowerment, they must have excellent ability and be able to find low-cost empowerment schemes; ③Considering the effect of the excess return from digital empowerment, platform providers should give priority to ensuring that participating enterprises obtain more excess returns, rather than giving priority to ensuring their own excess returns. That is, it is easier to achieve mutual benefit for platform providers who pay more attention to the growth of participating enterprises.
