The Research Status, Application Prospects and Contextualized Depth of Case Studies of Business Administration in China
SU Jingqin,JIA Yibo
In recent years the research method of case study has received extensive attention in the field of business administration. Nevertheless, the general picture of its development status, including what progress has been achieved and what existing problems are to be tackled next, is still a question open for discussion. Therefore, based on related research in the past decade, this paper focuses on the development status, application prospect and contextualized depth of case study. Results demonstrate that case study in business administration has taken a great leap forward during the past ten years’ practice. Completing the transition from budding stage to mature phase with a considerable scale and broader application prospect, case study has gradually become an ever-increasingly important tool when exploring top research topics. However, due to insufficient understanding of what is theory and what is the discovery of theory, many researches lack certain theoretical contributions (like new construct, relationship, or mechanism), which in turns leads to unsatisfactory research conclusions.

Study on a New Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Integrating Online and Offline Resources
WANG Zhengpei,LI Guoxin
The research aims to invesigate a new kind of entrepreneurial ecosystem which includes Internet entrepreneurial resources and platforms. Our research focuses on the basic form, development process, species type, evolutionary dynamics mechanism of the new entrepreneurial ecosystem and its impact on macro entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through the case study, it is concluded that online entrepreneurial resources are embedded into the offline entrepreneurial ecosystem, and this new form of synergy is the new entrepreneurial ecosystem. The development process of the new entrepreneurial ecosystem is first to establish contact between online and offline entrepreneurial services platforms and online entrepreneurship service platforms, then, partnerships between different regional entrepreneurial ecosystems are established through the Internet. The development of new entrepreneurial ecosystem has enabled some of the entrepreneurial resources and services within the micro system to have global network impacts, and the boundaries of macro and micro entrepreneurship ecosystems are blurring.

Goal Achievement Process: An Approach to Employee Well-Being
ZHANG Kai,LIN Congcong
Existing literature provides four theories to explain how employee well-being emerges and impacts: self-determination theory, conservation of resource theory, social exchange theory, and affective event theory. The present study first reviews the status quo and boundaries of each individual theory, and then proposes a goal-structure-change theory of employee well-being, which is rooted in the self-organization model of human psychology and introduces the goal-structure-change theory of human emotion to explain the emergence of employee well-being. Finally, the analysis of its theoretical advantages and contributions indicate that the goal achievement process theory of employee well-being integrates the existing theories, and demonstrates a stronger explanatory and predictive power toward employee well-being than any existing theory.

Role of Employees’Voice Behavior in the Transfer of Goal Orientation and Performance——A Cross-Level Moderated Mediation Model
ZHANG Lanxia,ZHANG Liangting,FU Jingyao,JIA Mingmei
Based on trait activation theory and achievement motivation theory, this study investigates the role of employees’voice behavior in the transfer of goal orientation and job performance, and tests the moderated mediation effect of team involvement climate as well. Using paired survey questionnaires from 633 subordinates and 120 supervisors, the empirical results indicate that mastery goal orientation and performance-approach goal orientation have significant positive impacts on job performance, while performance-avoidance goal orientation has significant negative impact on job performance. Moreover, voice behavior mediates the relationship between goal orientation and employees’job performance, and only the mediation effect of voice behavior between performance-approach goal orientation and job performance is stronger under the condition of high team involvement climate.

The New Perspective of Organizational Justice: The Perspectives of Resource Allocation Norm and Compensation Theory
WANG Yongli,LU Hailing,YANG Na,TAN Ling
Based on equity theory, we explored how welfare policies affect employees’ sense of fairness through a questionnaire survey and a situational experiment. The results show that: (1) The beneficiary, who had benefited from the policies, reports more fairness perceptions than nonbeneficiary; (2) Resources allocation norm moderates the relationship between the usage frequency of welfare policies and fairness perception of employees; (3) There exists compensation effects among different policies, and the relationship between the usage and the perceived fairness of policy A is moderated by the use of policy B. These findings extend our understanding of equity theory and provide a theoretical basis for the organizations to formulate appropriate welfare policies and build up a corporate culture of fair and justice.

The Impact of Government Support and Entrepreneurial Orientation on Innovation Performance of Entrepreneurial Firms
LI Ying,ZHAO Wenhong,ZHOU Mi
Based on resource-based view, this study explores the influence of government support on innovation performance in entrepreneurial firms through the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation. Through sampling 226 entrepreneurial firms from Shaanxi, the results empirically show that government support significantly strengthens innovation performance of entrepreneurial firms, and entrepreneurial orientation has partially played a mediating role between them. Further, the relationship between government support and entrepreneurial orientation is affected by the entrepreneurial failure experiences and competitive intensity. Specifically, both entrepreneurial failure experiences and low level of competitive intensity enhance the relationship between government support and entrepreneurial orientation. The study illustrates that, under the condition of government encouragement towards innovation and entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial firms should fully understand the effect of government support on innovation and make use of it more efficiently. Meanwhile, the government should take the influence of habitual entrepreneurs and industry competition environment on the entrepreneurial firms into consideration, which may improve the appropriate enactment of government policy.

Corporate Innovational Strategic Response under Dynamic Institutional Environment
LI Honggui,CAO Yingying,DU Yunzhou
This paper puts forward the concept of dynamic institution environment and discusses the dimensions of uncertainty and complexity of dynamic institution environment from regulative institution, normative institution and cognitive institution. Based on the theoretical analysis of seeking political connection and promoting innovation capability of corporate innovational strategic response under the complexity and uncertainty of dynamic institutional environment, this paper constructs the theoretical framework of the relationship between dynamic institutional environment, strategic reaction and innovation performance. Under the different conditions and different evolution of dynamic institutional environment, it reasoned that choosing different strategic response, will have different strategic results, furthermore the positive impact on the performance of innovation is also different.

A Research on How Alliance Portfolio Management Capability Impacts on the Focal Firm’s Cooperative Innovation Performance
YIN Junjie,SHAO Yunfei
From the perspective of resource-based view, and based on the theory of organizational learning and relational theory, this study explores the relationship between the alliance portfolio management capability and focal firm’s cooperative innovation performance. The results show that alliance portfolio management capability not only has a positive impact on the focal firm’s cooperative innovation performance, but also indirectly influences it through knowledge power and relational learning. What is more, compared with knowledge power, relational learning has a greater impact on cooperative innovation performance.

The Analysis of Differences in Perceived Satisfaction of Targeted Users with The Supply and Demand Sides Policies of New Energy Vehicles
XIONG Yongqing,QIN Shufeng
This paper divided the target users of NEVs into the “leading” target users and the “following” target users. Based on the three-factor structure of customer satisfaction and the cognitive difference analysis method of product/service attributes, this paper used questionnaire data to analyze the differences between the “leading” and the “following” target users on the satisfaction of policy perception on the supply and demand sides policies of NEVs. The results demonstrated that: for the “leading” target users, the levels of policy perceived satisfaction on the “supply side” and the “demand side” presented little difference on the whole, of which the bottleneck effect of the “infrastructure” policy and the “financial support” policy on the “supply side” stood out; for the “following” target users, the overall level of policy perceived satisfaction on both the “supply side” and the “demand side” are lower than the “leading” target users, while the levels on the “demand side” were lower than that on the “supply side”, and the bottleneck effect of the “purchase subsidiary” policy and the “tax exemption” policy on the “demand side” stood out. The policy design for NEVs industry should distinguish between the “leading” and “following” consumer groups and should have different emphasis in policy tool selection.

The Impact of Sales Information from E-Commerce Platform on Consumers’ Attention and Product Choice-The Moderating Effect of Product Types
WAN Xiaoyu,WANG Tingyi,WU Jifei,ZHANG Hong
Drawing on the consumers’ herding and the functional theory of attitude, this paper examines how the products’ sales information on e-commerce platform influences consumers’ attention and product choice. Study 1 and study 2 found that, firstly, sales information on e-commerce platform has a significant positive impact on consumers’ attention and product choice. Secondly, product type moderates the relationships among sales information on e-commerce platform, consumers’ attention and consumers’ choice: the sales of functional products has a positive impact on consumer’ attention, so that consumers are more willing to choosing functional products with higher sales; however, the positive impact of sales information on consumer attention from symbolic products is significantly weaken, and consumers are more likely to buy a symbolic(versus functional) product with lower sales.

Optimal Product Rollover Strategy under Trade-in Program
LIU Jingchen,CHEN Lihua,ZHAI Xin
Considering consumers’ forward-looking behavior, this paper studies the interaction between product rollover strategy and pricing scheme when an innovative firm offers the trade-in program. Based on the rational expectation of strategic consumers, a two-period dynamic model is developed and the subgame perfect Nash equilibrium between the firm and consumers is solved. Results show that for both rollover strategies, the firm is better off following price skimming when the product salvage value is low. Second, the firm’s optimal rollover strategy depends on the product innovation incremental value, the product salvage value, and how strategic consumers are. Third, when the firm follows price skimming, dual rollover degenerates to single rollover. When the firm follows penetration pricing, single rollover strategy is more profitable when consumers are strategic enough, the product salvage value is high, and the product innovation incremental value is low. In addition, without the constraint of the same pricing scheme, single rollover is more profitable than dual rollover in most cases.

The Optimization Research of Vehicle Routing Problem with Heterogeneous Fleet, Simultaneous Pickup-Delivery Considering Temporal-Spatial Distance
WANG Xuping,LI Xinyu,ZHANG Jun
Along with the development of retail industry and reverse logistics, more and more researchers pay attention to the vehicle routing problem with simultaneous pickup and delivery(VRPSPD). In order to satisfy with the individual and various demand of customer, we establish vehicle scheduling with picking-delivery model.According to the characteristics of model,a two-stage heuristic algorithm was designed to solve the problem, taking into account the concept of space-time distance. The results show that the initial solution considering temporal-spatial distance has obvious advantages in terms of the efficiency of the algorithm and the quality of the solution.

Service Composition of Pickup Point under Cooperative Coverage
HAN Xun,ZHANG Jin,CHEN Yiyou
Through the establishment of the brand and the sharing of information, the enterprise forms the attraction to the consumers. Customers are influenced by all pickup points belonging to a similar enterprise. Distance satisfaction of different customers to each service product was described by piecewise function, and the circumstance that customer behavior was affected by multiple facilities was depicted by cooperative coverage. Service composition optimization model of pickup point under competitive environment was established. Imperial competition algorithm was used to solve the problem, and the effectiveness of the model and algorithm was verified by a case. The result shows that as the budget increases, the added demand for each unit of cost increases gradually. With the increase of signal threshold, the maximum demand coverage shows an upward trend. Compared with non-cooperative coverage model, cooperative coverage model is superior in terms of demand coverage and coverage cost.

Differences, Integration and Future Directions of Channel Opportunism Research
ZHANG Chuang,XU Jia
This study reviewed 92 articles published in 19 English journals and 32 articles published in 9 Chinese journals between 1984 and 2016. The authors proposed a review framework by differentiating the antecedents of opportunism as promoting factors, inhibiting factors, and inconsistent factors, and defining the outcomes of opportunism as economic performance, relationship performance and response behaviors of the channel members. The authors indicated the inconsistent results in the extant research and explained the possible reasons, such as the differences of research context, definition and operationalization of constructs, and research design. Finally, we proposed several promising directions for further research.
