Abstract The paper founds a philosophic foundation which unites Ontology and existential analysis with Wang Yangming’s the Unity of Knowing and Doing, and thus sets out a conceptual model of manager’s strategic competence. Then the paper develops and tests measurement, analyzes the internal relationship between Knowing and Doing with the method of SEM, and at the same time interprets Steve Jobs’ thought of management.
