The 2nd Symposium of “China, Practice and Management ” took “Directly Facing China’s management practices” as its theme. It has been an enlightening discussion on the meaning, mechanism and outcome evaluation of the practiceoriented management theoretical research. The Symposium stressed the issue of “Chinesepracticeoriented theoretical research on management” as its main discussion topic. Researchers attending the Symposium started to explore the methods and cases for the theorization of Chinese context and have reached some common understanding for implementing theoretical study derived from Chinese management practice. They called for the correct evaluation of the practiceoriented theoretical research, raised the voice of doing theoretical research based on facing Chinese management practices and expected that people from academic fields and those from practices could cooperate more closely.
