This paper presents the background, motivation and status quo of the research on theory of error-elimination. It systematically introduces the methodology and tool used for doing research on this theory. This paper also summarizes the contributions made by theory of error-elimination and error logic to management, decisionmaking process, modeling of management system and development of a new school of management science as well. Finally, this research gives a prospective introduction to the research direction and practical application of the theory of error-elimination. It shows that this research has great potential research space in both in-depth theory exploration and practical application.
