Community Structure Analysis of Firmproduct Bipartite Network: A Case Study on China’s Automobile Industry

Abstract  

This paper firstly provides the definition and dividing approach of firmproduct bipartite network. Then the paper carries out a study on community structure of firmproduct bipartite network in China’s automobile industry, which divides the community structure and evaluates the result based on modularity Q index. The results suggest that firmproduct bipartite network of China’s automobile industry possesses a distinct community structure. Finally, the paper discusses the industrial implications of the community structure.
