Was briefly reviewed the project titled the legal system for the development of venture capital industry in China, supported by National Nature Science Foundation (NSFC) in 2000.  The research frame and context, basic results and important viewpoints of the project were systematically described.  The theoretical and practical significances of this project and the citation of the study results were explained.
