Empirical Study: Factors Influencing Employee Turnover in Enterprises Undergoing Organizational Changes

Abstract  

State-owned enterprises, especially enterprises undergoing their organizational changes often are confronted with brain drain in China. Works on employee turnover home and abroad were reviewed.  From three levees, individual, organization and society, the employee turnover in an electric power enterprise undergoing the reformation was empirically made.  11 factors influencing the turnover, age, political parties, education background, tenure, professional titles,  working departments, post characters, ranks in post, administrative ranks, rewarded times and trained times, were identified. This result has the reference for formulating of human resources management in various sorts of enterprises.
