The research is an empirical study of clustered umbrella manufactures. The clustered growth of enterprises has already become a remarkable feature of the development of private economy in Zhejiang province. It is seen that there are strong mutual dependences between the technology innovations process and clustered enterprises.  The positive research results show that clustered enterprises with different sizes, organization forms and growth stages select their technology innovation strategies very differently.   Technology innovation strategies should match the development of clustered firms dynamically.
