Application Service Provider (ASP), which gives the comprehensive solution to information uses in enterprises, was used as an object.  How ASP platform is set up and operate was considered. It is found that ASP platform is characterized by multi-roles participation.  An operation prototype for ASP platform is proposed.  On the basis of this prototype, several common operation models for ASP platform were compared in their advantages, disadvantages and working environments.
