The regional venture capital environment system consists of economy, technology，finance and so on, whose improvement will promote the growth of local venture capitals.  Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method was used to evaluate regional venture capital environments. Researched empirically was the efficiency of the regional venture capital environments of 19 provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government in China. Proposed also are the corresponding measurements for the regions, in which the efficiency of regional venture capital environments are not evaluated efficiently by DEA.
