Abstract A profound and complete strategic transformation carried out by KPMG, a worldwide famous accounting firm, from 1992 to 2001 and its leader, Colin Sharman, who finally became the director of the board were narrated. From the perspective of how a strategic manager promotes a strategic transformation in his firm, the whole process of the transformation, including the process of advancing, designing and implementing the transformation, was investigated to reveal Colin Sharman's unique perspicacity, close uniformity and outstanding artistry in the transformation.
