Abstract  

The purpose of this study is to provide a new approach to analyze the housing market to meet the challenges of the complexity and a dearth of large databases of the system.  By Combination of system science with complex network theory, a network model, which consists of banks, house producers, house buyers and their interactions, is proposed.  The structure and dynamics of the housing market system was described. The evolving networks of Shanghai housing market were simulated.
