The Navigation of Tacit Knowledge from Corporations

Abstract  

An approach to corporations' tacit knowledge navigation is proposed, which includes two parts: with respect to experts' abilities, the Balanced Score Card (BSC) based expert navigation method ; while with respect to relationships between experts, multi-relational expert network based expert-navigation-routesearch method and relevant expert search method are also presented. The methods is focused at providing criterions and navigation solutions to managers. Social Network Analysis (SNA) tool namely SociometryPro was introduced to estimate the expert network, in doing so, some experts' characters results are brought forward and some suggestions on enhancing the effect and efficiency of corporations' tacit knowledge sharing were addressed.
