A Study on the Manufacturing Industry Managerial Competency Situational Judgment Tests's Reliability and Validity

Abstract  

To explore the construction of “Manufacturing Industry Managerial Competency's Inventory(MIMC)” in China,152 employees from Manufacturing Industries and 46 graduate students participated in this test.The results indicated that Criterion related validity were relatively good.Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) supported the hypothesis that MIMC measured the sixdimensional competency model,and indicated that the construct validity were relatively good.The results also testified lots of scholars' standpoint that situational judgment test can measure the cognitive ability and work experience.Lastly,independentsamples T test showed:there are not marked differences between difference gender' scores.
