Abstract

Academic misconduct behaviors of scholars from universities are seen as a kind of evil tumor in scientific progress. How organizational factors influence individual's academic misconduct behaviors in colleges and universities were studied by multiple regressions.  Results show that four factors influence the improper behaviors significantly, the university's reputation, leader's emphasizing the outcome of academic researches, internal supervision and academic ethical climate in universities and colleges. Academic improper behaviors from scholars in different universities and colleges vary greatly in academic misconduct behaviors. Some suggestions of avoiding the improper behaviors are also given.
