Abstract This paper studies the paths between procedural and distributive justice and alliance performance. The theoretical and empirical results indicates that commitment is a significant path between procedural and distributive justice and alliance performance, procedural and distributive justice could enhance organizational commitment in alliance, and commitment is a critical factor of successful alliances. These results help us to understand the mechanisms of procedural and distributive justice influencing alliance performance and also make justice theory well guide the alliance practices.
